Founded by current president Billy Gropp in 1979, The Groundsman, Inc. began with a clear mission: to provide reliable and professional landscaping services for apartment complexes, small businesses, and residential properties throughout the Augusta, Georgia area. What started as a modest operation quickly grew in both scope and reputation.
Over the years, The Groundsman expanded its capabilities to include a wider range of landscape projects, shifting focus toward larger-scale and more diverse commercial services. Today, our primary emphasis is on delivering the highest quality landscape management for commercial, industrial, and large residential properties. We proudly offer annual maintenance contracts for hospitals, professional office buildings, and a wide variety of commercial and industrial facilities across the Central Savannah River Area (CSRA).
